Install

macOS

With Homebrew on Apple silicon:

brew install --cask ai-celeris/tools/celeris

Or run the installer script, which verifies the download against its published checksum before installing:

curl -fsSL https://app.celeris.ai/install.sh | bash

Then launch Celeris and grant two permissions when macOS asks:

  • Screen Recording lets the hotkey capture your screen. Without it the capture comes back blank.
  • Accessibility lets Celeris read the frontmost app's name and window title, which is how it knows which window you meant.

You can revoke either in System Settings → Privacy & Security.

Windows

In PowerShell:

irm https://app.celeris.ai/install.ps1 | iex

Launch Celeris from the Start menu. Nothing else needs granting.

Linux

curl -fsSL https://app.celeris.ai/install.sh | bash

This installs a single self-contained application file and adds a launcher entry. On Linux, Celeris cannot read where the frontmost window sits, so a suggested action opens in its own window rather than beside the one it applies to.

Android

Install Celeris from Google Play. It chats with celeris-1 directly, and can send work to a desktop you are signed in on. See Celeris on your phone.

The iPhone app is not available yet.

Choose Connect Celeris account. Celeris shows a short pairing code, then opens the Celeris Console in your browser. Type the code there and pick the workspace Celeris should use. Its model usage is billed to that workspace.

Celeris creates an API key for that workspace and stores it in your operating system's keychain. You never paste or see the key. To switch account or workspace later, use Settings → Account.

Celeris never puts the pairing code in the URL it opens. A link that fills the code in for you did not come from Celeris.
